Doula Mentoring
You finished the training. Now what?
Doula training gives you the foundation—but walking into your first births, finding clients, navigating hospitals, building packages, and actually running a doula business can feel like a whole different education.
That's where mentorship comes in.
I created doula mentoring to give newer doulas a place to ask the questions you don't always get to ask in training, build confidence, and learn from real-life birth and business experience.
No gatekeeping. No pretending you should already know everything. Just honest, practical support as you find your own way of being a doula.

What we can work on
At the birth
- Preparing for your first births
- What to pack & what you'll actually use
- Navigating hospital and birth-center spaces
- Working alongside nurses, midwives & providers
- Comfort measures, positioning & hands-on support
- Handling difficult or unexpected birth situations
Working with clients
- Client consultations and prenatal visits
- Supporting partners without taking over
- Documentation & birth notes
- Creating packages & setting boundaries
Running your business
- Contracts, policies & getting organized
- Marketing yourself without feeling salesy
- Building referral relationships
- Backup doula relationships
- Medicaid/insurance basics and navigating credentialing
…and all the things nobody told you in doula training.
Who this is for
Newly trained doesn't have to mean figuring it all out alone.
Mentorship is designed for newly trained or newer doulas who want a little more guidance as they begin taking clients and attending births.
Whether you're preparing for your very first client or you've attended a few births and are thinking, "Okay…how do I actually turn this into a business?"—we can meet you where you are.

Ongoing one-on-one guidance
For the doula who wants more than one conversation. We'll work together over a set period as you build confidence, take clients, navigate births, and develop the business side of your practice. Could include scheduled mentoring calls, case debriefs, business guidance, resources/templates that you personally own and are permitted to share, and between-session check-ins.
